SPRING HILL – While the world sits on the edge of their seats over nuclear sword rattling between North Korea and the United States, racial tensions are proliferating Stateside at a rate that many never expected to see in the 21st century.

SPRING HILL – One person is in protective custody after a two-hour standoff on Mayberry Road ended peacefully.

DADE CITY (HERNANDO) – The Sheriff’s Office is investigating an alleged armed robbery that occurred around 1:30 p.m. and sources say the suspects are still at large.

SPRING HILL – The violence continues throughout one Spring Hill neighborhood, after a man was stabbed while standing in the front yard of his residence on Bay Drive.

SPRING HILL – In the last few weeks there have been at least three people struck by lightning in Spring Hill. Last month a man was stuck by lightning at Turner Funeral Home on Spring Hill Drive, after a strong thunderstorm moved through the area. Sources say the man was dazed and appeared “ashy” but was not seriously injured.

SPRING HILL – A multi-vehicle crash injured at least two people at the intersection Commercial Way and Toucan Trails. 

UPDATE: 5:49 P.M. – Attorney Matt Foreman has confirmed that Aimee Chevalier was employed by HCA as a cafeteria worker. She was terminated by HCA on June 8th of this year. Foreman declined to comment on what led to Chevalier’s firing.

BROOKSVILLE – Amid an ongoing sexual assault investigation of a former Hernando County Christian Academy staff member, the Hernando County Sheriff’s Office has arrested a woman on similar charges who also claims to work for HCA.

SPRING HILL – Vice and Narcotics Detectives have been working overtime lately, trying to keep a growing drug problem from overrunning our neighborhoods and destroying lives.

SPRING HILL – The intersection that has become infamous for being the scene of so many injury accidents is back in the news, after three people suffered traumatic injuries in a crash at Linden Drive and Mariner Blvd.
