BROOKSVILLE – Between April 1861 and May 1865 the Civil War claimed almost as many lives as all other American Wars combined. In all, an estimated 620,000 men and women died as a result of combat, accidents, starvation, and disease.  

SPRING HILL – A Weeki Wachee man is behind bars today, after violent confrontation left him bloodied, bruised and facing several felony charges.

REGIONAL – Several Florida Counties have come under fire in the last few years, due to a quasi-government organization’s assertion that they were considered sanctuary jurisdictions. Sheriff’s in most counties vehemently denied the accusation and they were eventually removed from the organization’s list.

SPRING HILL – In the blink of an eye, Derrik Amaral lost the ability to use his arms and legs after he was paralyzed in a horrific car accident in 2013.

BROOKSVILLE – Two young children are among the injured in a rollover crash that occurred on Broad Street at Lake Lindsey Road.
