SPRING HILL – Last Friday, RNRF broke the news of shots fired inside a residence on Oberon Ave. Officials have now released a full report on what led to the shooting and the suspect who is facing some very serious charges.

UPDATE: 2:01 P.M. – HCSD Spokesperson Karen Jordan says, “Bucklin has been removed from student contact pending the outcome of the investigation.”

WEEKI WACHEE – A Hernando High School Teacher is facing a felony domestic battery charge, after officials say he strangled his wife during “private intimate time,” last Thursday.  

SPRING HILL – Only minor injuries reported after a car slammed into a home on Colchester Ave, leaving  a large hole in the front of the residence.

UPDATE: 8:09 P.M. – The suspect is identified as 59-year-old William Zayas of 4625 Elwood Road. His charges have not been listed at this time.

SPRING HILL – Amazingly there were no injuries this evening, after a man drove a BMW into the front window of a local Speedway Gas Station.

WEEKI WACHEE – Firefighters are battling an 11-acre brush fire that threatened a horse farm and several residences.

HUDSON – At least one person is confirmed dead, after a two-vehicle accident occurred on SR-52, just after 6:30 p.m. this evening.

HERNANDO – A courageous young woman received word last year that she is the only person who can save someone’s life, and next week she plans to give her life-saving bone marrow during a procedure in Orlando, Florida.

SPRING HILL – A domestic dispute turned violent today, after at least one shot was fired inside a home on Oberon Ave.

HERNANDO – On the heels of Commissioner Nick Nicholson’s plea to Governor Rick Scott to grant him a suspension from the BOCC, Scott quickly responded with a statement, temporarily granting that request and removing him from his duties on the Board.

UPDATE: 9:16 A.M. – There are now two patients reportedly injured and being transported to a local hospital. One victim is a 7 -8 year-old child.

SPRING HILL – At least 4-vehilces area involved in a collision at Landover Blvd and Augustine Road.
