UPDATE: 4:39 P.M. – Moments ago, Hernando County Sheriff’s Office spokesperson Denise Moloney announced that the child was pronounced deceased just after noon today. Full details to come.
UPDATE: 2:54 P.M. – Officials have not provided an update on the child’s condition, however, we’ve received information that the Medical Examiner and Homicide Detectives have joined the investigation. In addition, both parents have been transported to the Sheriff’s Office for questioning.
SPRING HILL – A 9-month old boy is in grave condition after officials say the child was left inside a vehicle earlier this morning.
UPDATE: 8/16/2018, 11:11 A.M. – The follow update was provided by officials: The Pasco Sheriff’s Office would like your help locating a vehicle that fled from the shooting incident at the Ridgestone Apartments in Hudson on August 15. The vehicle is a red, 2007 Mitsubishi Montero with Florida tag, JLJC49. The registered owner, Alexas Gregas, is wanted for questioning. Also wanted for questioning is Kiyondrea Redfield. If you have any information on this incident, location of the vehicle, or subjects, please contact the Pasco Sheriff’s Office.
There are unconfirmed reports that Alexas Gregas was detained after arriving at Bayonet Point Hospital this morning.
UPDATE: 8/16/2018, 7:59 A.M. – Officials say one person is confirmed dead and two other critically injured in what is being called a drug deal gone bad. An additional person involved in the incident may have been shot and fled the scene.
One of the vehicles associated with the incident collided with an apartment building. Officials are searching for a red Mitsubishi Montero that fled the scene.
Witnesses say cash was strewn on the ground where the shooting took place.

SPRING HILL – While law enforcement agencies from several jurisdictions continue to investigate a long string of organized vehicle burglaries, Hernando County Sheriff’s Deputies captured two suspects in connection with at least seven recent burglaries in the Trillium subdivision.
