Second Cocaine Trafficking Bust in Two Weeks, Suspect Held on $137K Bond
BROOKSVILLE – Vice and Narcotics Detectives were hard at work, taking down another alleged drug dealer this morning, after they executed a search warrant on Switchback Road.
According to officials, 30-year-old Anthony Brown Jr. was taken into custody at 15051 Switchback Road, after S.W.A.T. and Detectives stormed his residence and found trafficking amounts of cocaine, hyrdromorphone, marijuana and various other controlled substances.
Officials say the bust comes after a lengthy investigation and controlled purchases by undercover detectives. Brown is suspected of selling cocaine and pills throughout Hernando County.
Brown faces several drug trafficking charges and is currently behind bars at the Hernando County Jail, held on a $137,000 bond.
Less than two weeks ago, Vice and Narcotics Detectives raided a home in Spring Hill and uncovered a major cocaine trafficking operation. Over 1.5 kilos of cocaine and other drugs were discovered inside the residence of 28-year-old Devan Diandre Bristol and his girlfriend, 26-year-old Jasmine Deon Delaine.
