Armed “Vacuum” Robber Found Hiding Inside Spring Hill Home, Suspect’s Alias Raises New Questions

Witnesses say a man walked into the department store around 3:00 p.m. on December 2nd, displayed a firearm, and then stole a vacuum cleaner before fleeing in an unknown type vehicle.
Yesterday, Sheriff’s Deputies executed a search warrant at a residence on Raleigh Street, where the suspect was taken into custody without incident.
According jail records, 29-year-old Jack Valentine was booked into the Hernando County Jail and charged with armed robbery and felon in possession of a firearm. Valentine remains behind bars on $60,000 bond.
Valentine served nearly 3-years behind bars, after a 2012 conviction of aggravated assault with a firearm, possession of a handcuff key, and possession of a weapon by a convicted felon. It is unknown what previous conviction led to Valentine being registered as a felon.
It should be noted that Valentine is also known as Yevgeniy Andreyevich Poutilov (Евгений Андреевич Путилов) and his previously listed address is that of the U.S. Border Patrol office in Leesburg, Florida. It is unknown if Valentine is a U.S. Citizen at this time.
