SPRING HILL – The most vulnerable time for a child on school days is during pick up and drop off time. It’s nearly impossible for a parent or school staff member to have eyes on a child every second of the day, which is why strict policies and procedures are so important for schools to utilize when a child is picked up from school.

REGIONAL – Several Florida Counties have come under fire in the last few years, due to a quasi-government organization’s assertion that they were considered sanctuary jurisdictions. Sheriff’s in most counties vehemently denied the accusation and they were eventually removed from the organization’s list.

SPRING HILL – In the blink of an eye, Derrik Amaral lost the ability to use his arms and legs after he was paralyzed in a horrific car accident in 2013.

BROOKSVILLE – Two young children are among the injured in a rollover crash that occurred on Broad Street at Lake Lindsey Road.

PORT RICHEY (PASCO) – Earlier this afternoon, RNRF received dozens of tips from concerned citizens regarding a high-speed pursuit in the area of SR-52.

HERNANDO – There were two incidents over the long holiday weekend that drew a lot of attention form concerned citizens around the County.

SPRING HILL – A Hudson woman is behind bars today, after she crashed her car into a concrete drainage cover and tried to drive away.

UPDATE: 1/15/2018, 9:15 A.M. – Pasco County Officials say a 42-year-old woman has died as a result of yesterday’s casino shuttle boat fire. The woman was transported to Bayonet Point Hospital around, where she later died. The cause of death is unknown at this time.

The woman’s identity has not been released, pending notification of next of kin.

UDPATE: 4:59 P.M. – Officials say 50 people were rescued from the boat and treated by EMS onshore. There are no reports of fatalities or serious injuries at this time.

It should also be noted that the second media release provided by officials referred to the vessel as a “Shuttle.”

PORT RICHEY – The Coast Guard and Pasco County Fire Rescue are on the scene of a vessel fire on the Sun Cruz Casino Boat.
