Bobcat Goldthwait Filming Episode of “Misfits and Monsters” at Weeki Wachee State Park

WEEKI WACHEE – A production team with TruTV is on location at Weeki Wachee Springs State Park, where writer, director, comic, Bobcat Goldthwait is filming his new project, “Misfits and Monsters”.

Goldthwaite’s comedy series is a satirical anthology of psychological thrillers, romantic comedies, science fiction and much more.

We met briefly with Goldthwait on the set but due to his busy production schedule we were unable to conduct a full interview.Goldthwait’s personal assistant and associate producer, Emma Shalaway tells RNRF, “Bobcat is filming an episode that takes place here at Weeki Wachee, where one of the characters is a mermaid.” Shalaway says they’ve been on location in Weeki Wachee for two days and that the remaining production will take place in Atlanta, Georgia.

There is no word on when the first episode will air but is expected to be sometime early in 2018.
