Bomb Threat Prompts Evacuation of Walmart
UPDATE: 1:30 P.M. – The situation has been resolved without incident and Walmart should be resuming normal business operations.
BROOKSVILLE – Around 11:30 a.m., Brooksville Police and Sheriff’s Deputies responded to the Walmart Supercenter on Broad Street after receiving reports of a bomb threat.
Authorities immediately evacuated the business and shut down all entrances to the plaza. Gas pumps to the Murphy’s Gas Station have also been shut off as a precaution.
Police are currently searching the business for anything that may appear to be suspicious.
