BREAKING: Major Gas Leak Shuts Down Spring Hill Drive

BROOKSVILLE – Fire Rescue is on the scene of a natural gas leak in front of the Women’s Correctional Facility on Spring Hill Drive.

Officials have confirmed that a vehicle collided with a TECO gas line, causing it to fracture. There are no details on the driver’s condition at this time.

Spring Hill Drive is completely shut down in the area as firefighters attempt to shut off the gas line.

We will bring more on this story as it develops.

UPDATE: 8/9/2015, 12:11 PM – There are unconfirmed reports that TECO personnel have stopped the leak and the air quality is improving.
