Brooksville Shooting Suspect Behind Bars, Held without Bond
BROOKSVILLE – Another dangerous felon is off the streets according to the Hernando County Sheriff’s Office.
Last Saturday, shots rang out inside a home on Brook Drive, after a domestic disturbance ensued between 19-year-old David Thomas Williams and several individuals inside the home located at 1326 Brook Drive. ORIGINAL REPORT
According to officials, Williams fired at least one shot from a handgun and then fled the scene.
Investigators believed Williams remained in the area and was probably hiding out in the area of Twigg Street.
On Monday, Deputies located Williams inside a residence located at 820 Stubbs Street, only a few blocks away from Twigg Street.
Williams was taken into custody and transported to the Hernando County Jail, where he is currently held without bond.
David Thomas Williams, AKA, “Wooda,” is charged with Armed Home Invasion, Shooting into an Occupied Dwelling, Aggravated Assault with a Firearm, Domestic Battery, Violating a Restraining Order, and Witness Tampering.
