Car Swallowed Up by Massive Sinkhole, Water Main Break to Blame

BEVERLY HILLS (CITRUS) – A car was swallowed up by a large sinkhole this morning, after a water main broke in the area of Truman Blvd.

There are no injuries reported but officials say it didn’t take long for the vehicle, pictured below, to become completely engulfed as the water eroded the street away.

Road crews and emergency personnel are on scene and have closed Truman Blvd between S. Washington Ave and S. Barbour Street.
