Child Drowns in Apartment Complex Community Pool

UPDATE: 6/5/2018, 3:09 P.M. – Officials say the child survived yesterday’s drowning, but no other details have been released.

HUDSON – Pasco County Officials are reporting a drowning that occurred at an apartment complex on Little Road.

Fire Rescue responded to Ridgestone Apartments today, after a male child was found unresponsive in the community pool. The age of the child has not been released.

The victim was transported to an area hospital for treatment, but the child’s condition is unknown at this time.

    • The correct terminology is “near drowning ” or at least how we classified them when I worked in a Children’s hospital

    • John, with all due respect to you Sir I’m sure you didnt mean it the way it sounds but please dont say damn kid. I lost a child years ago and it changed how I look at children. There is no such thing a damn kid in my humble opinion.
