Dangerous Felon Cuts GPS Device from Ankle and Disappears
BROOKSVILLE – Authorities are desperately searching for an absconded sex offender, who removed his GPS tracking device yesterday afternoon and disappeared from his residence at 21255 Campbell Drive, in the DaMac subdivision.
31-yearold Elyard Randolph, Jr. was convicted of Lewd Assault and Battery on victim under the age of 16 in 2000 and spent nearly 3-years behind bars. In 2005 Randolph violated the terms of his release and was sent back to prison for 9-months. Less than a month after his release from prison in 2006, Randolph was arrested again and later convicted on charges of Cocaine Sale/Man/Del., Trafficking in Stolen Property, Armed Robbery, and Grand Theft Auto. Randolph was just released from prison in February, after spending almost 8-years behind bars.
According to the Department of Corrections website, Randolph is described as a black male, 6’1”, Brown hair Brown eyes, 209 lbs. He may go by several aliases, including BB, or Mike Waddy.
