Drugs and Guns Off the Streets, Two Facing Felony Trafficking Charges
SPRING HILL – Two people are facing major drug trafficking charges this morning and thanks to Vice and Narcotics Detectives several pounds various drugs, and guns are off the street.
According to the Hernando County Sheriff’s Office, a search warrant was executed at 4099 Sugarfoot Drive yesterday, where they discovered over 26 lbs. of marijuana, 506.5 grams of Hashish, 5.5 grams of Alprazolam, 3 grams of ecstasy, 7 firearms, and over $4,500 in cash.
Detectives say the months-long investigation confirmed that 26-year-old Evan Alan Steinhilber and 30-year-old William Eduardo Neff were involved in the sale of marijuana.
Stienhilber is free on a $107,000 bond and Neff remains behind bars on a $103,000 bond.
Charges include Trafficking in Cannabis while in possession of a firearm and possession of several other narcotics.
Vice and Narcotics arrested both suspects in 2013 for the same type of illegal activity, say officials.
