Drunk Man Caught Showering in Wrong House Frightens 13-Year-Old Girl

SPRING HILL – For the second time in a week, a nude man is arrested for bizarre public behavior – or in this case – inside a stranger’s home.

According to officials, deputies responded to a residence on Laurel Ave, just after 3:30 a.m., where a young girl reported that a man was inside her home on Airmont Drive.

The victim, a 13-year-old girl told deputies that he heard banging in the hallway bathroom, and then heard the shower turn on. In fear for her life, the girl fled the residence through her bedroom window to call for help. Once deputies arrived, the girl advised that she had siblings who were still asleep inside the home.

Deputies responded to the residence on Airmont Drive and after making sure that the other children were okay, they made their way towards the hallway bathroom. Inside, deputies located a man sitting on the edge of the bathroom tub, with the shower running. At that time, the suspect uttered the words “Babe” several times (referring to his girlfriend) and stated that he lived there. Deputies soon realized that the man was intoxicated and did not realize where he was.

The suspect, 36-year-old Joshua Lee Noble was taken into custody and transported to the Hernando County Jail. While en route to the jail, Noble stated that he was walking home from a bar with his girlfriend, when they became separated. That’s when Noble entered the home on Airmont Drive – believing it was his own.

No other crime was committed; therefore, Deputies only charged Noble with one count of Trespassing. Noble is free on $1,000 bond.

  • you really believe the miley poster saying some one put free drugs in his drink? one why would people be giving away valuable drugs for free and what would be the purpose? also guy has a prior record of sexual organ exposure public intoxication, indecent behavior, etc. Not this guys first rodeo. its either him posting an excuse for behavior or some one he knows. he has a history of this kind of behavior getting naked where he shouldnt be. and to the joeblow poster. there is no statute saying you arent responsible for your kids 12 and older to be home. if your 13 14 15 etc year old is home alone and something bad happens you can be charged with neglect, abuse, etc. the reason you didnt post a statute is bc there isnt one. you call people armchair lawyers and you have no idea what you are talking about at all. please no one take his idiotic comment seriously. do a simple google search to verify he or she is a moron. When I was 10 my parents would leave me home alone and I knew how to use our family firearm, 911, and we had dogs, a security system, and reliable neighbors. Luckily this turned out the best way it could of and hopefully this guy gets some serious mental help.

  • Leaving doors unlocked overnight and a drunk going into the wrong house… Lots of blame to go around. This could have ended much worse.

    Tuesday, 15 March 2016, 12:38 pm
  • Hmmmm this is odd, happy no one was hurt. Couldn’t imagine walking in the wrong house to shower but I have never been drugged and I wasn’t there so I won’t judge or leave crude comments. Yes he should not have been in the house. Personally we do not but people do accidently leave a door unlocked, I bet the home owners do not repeat that mistake again. I hope that little girl was not traumatized, I certainly would be!
Umm DOC, I’m replying to your commenting because it is the only one I see because it’s above the one I’m writing.
Are you asking if the entire HCSO are stupid or if they were all sleeping? Seriously think about that question you post on hundreds to read. What is a storg? Have you or could you be a police officer and deal with what these officers deal with on a day to day basis?
Personally I am extremely grateful for our officers risking their lives as their wives/husbands and children, parents lay in bed and pray for these officers to return home at night, praying our officers are not shot by someone messed up on drugs or ran over by a drunk.
Seriously our officers should be receiving the salary of a football player, they should be thanked for what they do not criticized by some moron that has nothing else to do but bully others behind a screen feeling like a bad ass. And thank goodness not everyone thinks the way you do!
Doc have a Blessed Day, may you find love and compassion in your heart, may you bring a smile on someone’s face or laughter in someone’s heart. You have it in you, perhaps use this side of you as a person opposed to the “Stupid” side!

  • If the mother was home, why was that not mentioned? Why were the doors left unlocked? Coincidence that this guy just happened to pick a house that had unlocked doors? WHERE WAS THE MOTHER THROUGH ALL THIS? The story only mentions the 13 year old girl and her siblings. Yea things just do not add up. How does a stranger walk into a strange home and magically find the bathroom and take a shower? At some point here he had to realize something was not right. SMH….

  • You armchair lawyers just rock my world! Kids all alone? Why wasn’t DCF called?
Wow. Let’s get the state involved to see if there’s food in the fridge too!
Seriously, those who made such comments probably never raised children in Florida because:
In the state of Florida, any child age 12 and older…can stay at home alone. In addition, said child may ALSO act as a babysitter for younger siblings. Read the statute.
Therefore…even if neither the mother nor father were not at home…no laws were broken in this respect.
And whose business is it if one does not lock their doors at night?
Government is not the solution for all of society’s problems and it’s a sad state of affairs when reactionaries jump on the bandwagon and scream ‘DCF!’ without knowing the facts or the law.
If the guy was involuntarily ‘roofied’ then that’s a separate criminal case.
How were he and his wife separated while walking home? He probably insisted upon entering the wrong house and she refused to follow! Duh!
    The man’s a veteran too.
Please try to be more understanding…and thankful for his service.

    • Joe, Actually I raised 2 children in Florida, Spring Hill. Yes, I am well versed on Fl law and the protocol and process of DCF. Although it is legal for a child at 13 to be alone, Spring Hill has become unsafe. I know you read all the stories. Would you leave your 13 child alone in Spring Hill? I did not and I would not. Did they get separated while walking? He says hey I’m going to walk in that house where I know no one and am not welcome and take a shower, she says ok, I’ll pass, but enjoy. Really? Or maybe she would say hey, are you crazy, you can’t do that, let’s keep walking. When I moved to Spring Hill in 1989, it was a nice place, however over the years the drugs, the crime, the lack of employment has given way to an unsafe area. Once a neighborhood turns, it’s very difficult to turn back. All I see is crime on the rise. And being a veteran means what? He served his country, thank you for your service, now stay the hell out of stranger’s home, and stop frightening 13 year old kids.

  • Kids not alone. 13 yo on one side of house Mom and siblings on the other. 13 yo heard banging noise and climbed out window and came to neighbors.

    Monday, 14 March 2016, 9:30 pm
  • Numerous questions: How did he get in? There are children in the home and the doors are not locked. What’s wrong with this picture. Question 2. He’s walking home with his girlfriend and gets separated? Are they toddlers? Drunk or not, how do you get separated? Where there no parents in the house? Was DCF called? Did the police leave after the arrest and leave the kids along in the house? Why wasn’t he charged with burglary? There were a few kids a few weeks ago who were arrested for burglary because the druggie inside the house left the screen off the window so they could come in. I’m not getting it.

  • The mother was home, she left the side door and back door unlocked. He was actually roofied at the bar, he only had 3 beers, and he walked home with his wife, not girlfriend. The last thing he remembered was starting the walk home from the bar with his wife. He’s a very good person, and not a creep. I know him personally, I hung out with him several times and worked with him for a long time. He’s actually a veteran.
