Early Morning Fire Destroys Mobile Home

BROOKSVILLE – Just before 7:00 a.m. this morning, Fire Rescue responded to 17307 Ponce De Leon Blvd after a passerby called 911 to report a fire at that residence.

The first units arrived within 5 minutes of the call to find a fully involved doublewide mobile home and they immediately began attacking the blaze.  HCFR established a water tanker operation to bring additional water to the scene, which assisted in quickly and efficiently bringing the fire under, according to officials.

If not for the quick thinking of the witness who called 911, the fire may have spread to other surrounding structures, say officials.

The homeowners are out of town at this time and there were no other occupants inside the residence.

The State Fire Marshal is on the scene investigating the cause of the fire.

Im sure these people wouldn’t be living in a “fire hazzard” if they could just be like you. S**t not stinkin and all. Wipin that a** with $100 bills. Maybe you can wipe your a** with $1 next time and give the $98.98 to these people who seem to need a little help. Keep that 2 cents to yourself 😉
