EDITORIAL: White, Christian, Conservative, Males – The Most Deplorable of Them All
By Tom Lemons
If I were to show you a graph of the which races, creeds, political affiliations and gender are the most despised in this country right now, you might be surprised to find out that it’s the white, Christian, Conservative, Male, or WCCM. By now, you’re probably saying to yourself, “Oh, here goes another conservative, Trump voting journalist, spouting off about protecting his Second Amendment rights… Probably a Nazi…” Well, you would be right about one thing, abhorrence for the WCCM is proliferating at an accelerated rate and minorities are not to blame, despite what certain extreme liberal media outlets would like you to believe. Because propagating false narratives about WCCMs is the only way they keep far-left politicians in positions of power and influence. Don’t get me wrong, a large number of Republicans have completely lost their way and are as worthless as their big smiling, baby kissing faces – but I digress.
Let’s break it down.
Gun Violence: The term in itself makes no sense at all because guns can’t commit acts of violence, but that’s one of left’s subliminal catch phrases that keep people believing that an inanimate object has a mind of its own. What does this have to do with WCCM? According to a TIME magazine article titled, One Undeniable Factor In Gun Violence: Men, “Male gun owners are more likely to bind their recreational lives and identities to their guns and “gun culture”: they hunt, go shooting, watch gun-related shows in TV, and seek out more gun-related recreation and information.” Gender attack! Then then they go on to political affiliation; “Ninety-one percent of Republican gun owners agree that “the right to own guns is essential to their own sense of freedom.” Political Attack! And here is the author’s race blame; “White men are much more likely to own guns than non-whites, and the “super-owners” amassing arsenals of weapons are particularly likely to be white, male and conservative. Among gun hoarders — those who own at least five guns — almost half say being a gun owner is “very important” to their identity.” Race Attack! But that’s not the most shocking quote from the article; “The gun is simply the (extremely literal) external symbol of the underlying ideology: White male power comes through physical domination,” the author writes. And of course it goes on to point out, “Women, immigrants and people of color are doing better than in the past, but we are not anywhere close to overtaking the white male grip on power.”
Within hours of the deadliest mass murder in American History, the left was already preparing speeches and talking points on how to legislate gun control. And of course gun toting, Trump voting, WCCMs were immediately demonized as those most likely to commit mass murder in this country.
Domestic Violence: The Violence Against Women Act pretty much says it all when it comes to who are considered victims and who are considered the perpetrators of most violence. Just about every government agency and advocacy group use the same statistics, that 1 in 4 women have experienced some form of intimate partner violence in their lifetime. That may be true but what they don’t report is that 1 in 7 men are also victims and they are less likely to report the crime, which essentially makes it an equal occurrence. But that wouldn’t be as appealing, so they just stick to the narrative of men are far more likely to commit domestic violence than women. Oh, and it should be noted that VAWA was enacted in 1994 by then-Senator Joe Biden under the guidance of advocacy groups that were comprised of radical feminists. Just a minor detail.
Christianity: If you live life on social media sites, then you haven’t missed the onslaught of anti-Christian memes. There seems to be no end to the catchy little phrases that tickle the fancy of the Alt-Left, like “Christianity: because thinking is hard” or “Prayer: how to do nothing and still think you’re helping.” The list goes on and on. But to be a Christian alone isn’t as offensive to the left as being a total WCCM.
Racism: I saved the most delicate element for last because I want to make sure that my readers understand that I am not attacking minorities, I’m simply pointing out that a large number of minorities think WCCMs are white supremacist. And again, because the liberal media keeps driving the “White Privilege” super train at full throttle, down their viewer’s throats. One need to look no further than the attacks on President Donald Trump, after Hurricane Maria virtually destroyed Puerto Rico.
As it became more apparent that Maria would hit Puerto Rico head on, the “media” went into a frenzy to prepare their Trump bashing scripts on how long it took for aid to reach the island, even though Dozens of ships, cargo, and troops were already headed to Puerto Rico as soon as the storm past. But this was a “perfect storm” for liberals, no pun intended, because the majority of Hispanics are Democrats, making Trump an easy target for ridicule, especially with “Trump’s anti-immigrant” still on top rotation at CNN and MSNBC.
Last week I covered a Celebration of Patriotism event in Brooksville that drew dozens of former NFL fans who were protesting players for disrespecting the National Anthem. During the event, some attendees burned NFL merchandise worth thousands of dollars which outraged many of our viewers. The ensuing debate that took place on the RNRF Community Facebook Page resulted in extremely racist remarks, not only towards those who participated in the event, but towards me for covering it as well. I won’t reveal the identities of those who made the remarks but one woman chastened me for choosing the Patriot event over a Puerto Rican recovery event that was held at the same time. She said, “…Selective reporting. It’s all about the Benjamin huh…” Another woman said, “…there are only white people in the picture… Get over it, they didn’t stand big f***ing whoop,” referring to NFL players not standing for the National Anthem. But I think the most profound comment was from a woman who said, “I’m surprised no one wore their robes and hoods.” I asked the woman if she thought all white, conservative Trump supporters were racist and she said, “Most Trump supporters are racist and most white conservatives are racist as well and they’re disgustingly proud of it.” The vitriol continued and is probably still going now.
Antipathy towards WCCMs has been building for decades but it wasn’t until then-candidate Trump laid out his campaign platform that WCCMs became public enemy number one. But men aren’t the only victims of this Civil Cold War. Michelle Obama was recently quoted as saying, “Any woman who voted against Hillary Clinton voted against their own voice.” She went on to say that female voters for Trump were just “going with the pack.”
In closing, I want to make it very clear that I’m not suggesting one segment of society is responsible for attacking WCCMs. I’m saying that radical liberal politicians are indoctrinating Democrat voters with hate and intolerance towards WCCMs and anyone that doesn’t agree with them.
I know some of you are saying, “Oh you’re just trying to be a Breitbart or FOX News,” but do you really think CNN and MSNBC are “fair and balanced.”
I’ll end this editorial with a few nifty little memes that someone recently shared (See Below).
