Fire Destroys Buildings at Pasco Horsemen’s Club, Investigation into Cause Underway

HUDSON (PASCO) – Fire destroyed two structures at the Pasco Horsemen’s Club this afternoon, in what was initially believed to be a stable fire.

According to Officials, firefighters responded to the area of Fivay Road and Clayton Blvd around 12:40 p.m. where they discovered a storage building and announcers tower fully engulfed in flames. Although both structures were a total loss, there was no damage to the stables and no injuries to personnel or livestock.Firefighters brought the fire under control just before 1:00 p.m. this afternoon.

The State Fire Marshal is investigating the cause of the blaze and is trying to locate the owner.
