Fire Destroys Vehicle Parked Near Apartment Building

BROOKSVILLE – Fire Rescue responded to Brookview Villa Apartments located on Barclay Ave last night, after reports of a vehicle fire at that location.

According to officials, a 2013 Dodge Avenger was completely destroyed, after it burst into flames while parked in front an apartment. The vehicle owner, Timothy Rosario, was not injured and there was no damage to surrounding structures.

Officials believe the fire originated in a fuel line on the driver’s side of the engine compartment, but the case is still under investigation.

A passerby captured video of the incident before firefighters extinguished the blaze.

In October, a vehicle crashed into one of the apartments, after the driver experienced an apparent medical episode. That apartment remains condemned. CLICK HERE FOR REPORT
