Firefighters Investigating Possible Fire Inside Spring Hill Elementary

SPRING HILL – Fire Rescue is currently investigating the cause of a possible fire that occurred inside Spring Hill Elementary located on Mariner Blvd.

According to our sources, employees inside school say they heard a loud boom and then the school began to fill with smoke.

There were very few children, if any, that were still inside the school at the time of the incident and no injuries have been reported.

Officials have not released a report at this time, but there are unconfirmed reports that a mechanical failure inside the air conditioning may be to blame.

We will bring more on this story as it develops.
