Girlfriend Charged with Obstruction – Suspect Found Hiding in Attic
SPRING HILL – Last night, Sheriff’s Deputies began surveillance of a residence inside Bridgewater Club Apartments, in an attempt to locate a wanted person.
According to reports, the suspect, 21-year-old Joshua Michael Delgado, was observed by deputies peering out the living room window and then notice a marked patrol vehicle. Deputies knocked on the door and made contact with Delgado’s girlfriend, 21-year-old Sarah Marie Mazzuca, who advised that Delgado was not home and that she had not seen him for months. Deputies gave Mazzua several opportunities to reveal Delgado’s whereabouts, but she refused.
Knowing that Delgado was inside the apartment, they gained entry and found him hiding in the attic, under an air conditioning duct. Delgado was taken into custody and charged with violating felony probation, out of Pasco County. The violation stemmed from a previous Fleeing and Eluding Charge.
Due to Mazzuca’s interference with the investigation and attempts to conceal her boyfriend, she was taken into custody and charged with Obstruction. Mazzuca is currently free on a $500 bond.
