Hard Freeze Warning for Central and North Florida

REGIONAL – Freezing temperatures are expected across most of Florida tonight and some counties, including Hernando, Pasco, and Citrus are under a hard freeze warning.

According to the National Weather Service, temperatures are expected to drop to between 20° and 27° degrees tonight and only reach a high of 32° on Saturday morning.

Temperatures well below freezing are expected to last between 4 to 6 hours on Friday and Saturday mornings.

  • It is hard to believe that we only have two shelters in the whole county!
    And what about the homeless people who don’t have a car, how are they expected to get to one of those shelters?
    I feel bad for the homeless people, especially those who no fault of their own are homeless and maybe even have children. 🙁
