HCSO: “No Threat to the Community” Despite 3 Shootings, 3 Dead, 2 injured, Shooter(s) at Large
SPRING HILL – A shooting that occurred earlier this morning inside a local apartment complex may be related to a shooting in Brooksville last week that left one person dead.
According to unconfirmed reports, this morning’s victim, 20-year-old Bre’on Wyatt, or Bre’on LightsOut Wyatt as he is referred to on Facebook, is a possible cousin to De’Aundre Robert who was shot and killed outside Coney Island Drive Inn last Tuesday. Robert used Runit Up Drezzy as his facebook name.
Despite the numerous shootings that have occurred in just six days, at least one, possibly two gunmen remain at large and the Sheriff’s Office says “there is no threat to the community.” However, in some cases there are factors not privy to the public that may lead law enforcement to believe there is no threat to the general public.
Brooksville Police are still investigating the Coney Island shooting but there is no suspect description at this time.
A third shooting took place on Azen Loop on Tuesday night that left two people dead and another clinging to life.
We will continue to bring more on this story as it develops.
