  • That intersection has a crash every day just about! When do you think the county will actually do something to make it safer!? If you said never, you’re right! I’ve been here over 20 years and nothing has changed there except where the broken glass lays in the street. Pathetic Hernando County Government

  • Maggie could a medical condition (stroke, heart attack, seizure) enter your mind?? Has been known to happen.
James Gries, I was in a head on accident. To look at my vehicle you would have thought roll over from the damage. Woman hit me so hard bent frame, peaked the roof of my car, dropped dashboard in my lap with steering column – made my car flat out UGLY!! I came to rest opposite side of road in ditch. She got her kid to school on time tho’!!!! Witnesses verified to officers it was a head on and what transpired after the initial hit. Don’t think you can tell just from pictures.

  • How can this be a head on? The left front of on, and the right front of the other. Think about it

    • James…..don’t be a bone head. What you are implying is if it’s not center bumper to center bumper it is not actually head on. You think about that.

    • Well James, first of all the call for the description of the collision is based upon where/how the majority of the impact is sustained, and while i would surmise that it is probably going to be the result of a failure to yield while making a left turn, it does appear that the majority of the damage was sustained from a mostly head-on impact – although it really is irrelevant, as it is an opinion. But lets just say that Tom was in error, is it any worse than your inability to correctly spell a word (one) that most of us learned how to spell in 1st grade? Hahaha!!

  • I honestly hope everyone is okay. But it is beyond any kind of common sense of why this happens unless on the phone, texting, and overall not paying attention and just dont no how to drive and obey road rules.
