Home Invasion Suspect Identified, Warrant Issued for His Arrest
CITRUS- The Citrus County Sheriff’s Office has now identified the man they say is responsible for a home invasion robbery that occurred earlier this month in the Citrus Hills area.
According to Officials, on October 10th, 31-year-old Dustin Ray Spangler forced his way into a residence near Fresno Ave and held a victim hostage while he robbed her. Although the woman was not injured Officials were concerned for the safety of other residents in the area. At the time, detectives only had a vague sketch to help identify the suspect.
Officials say Spangler is a white male, weighing 160 lbs., with brown eyes and brown hair. Spangler also has distinguishing tattoos on his left shoulder, chest, neck, and forearm. Spangler has previous arrest for Grand Theft and Burglary.
Officials believe Spangler may be in the Hernando or Beverly Hills area.
