Intoxicated Local Attorney Charged with Domestic Battery and Disturbing the Peace
SPRING HILL – A local attorney who practices family and criminal law might need to retain his own services or that of a colleague, after he reportedly battered his girlfriend during a night of heavy drinking.
According to officials, 40-year-old Kenneth Britt Reynolds, an attorney with Reynolds Law PLLC, pushed his girlfriend in a “vigorous” manner at his home on Walleye Path.
Neighbors witnessed the incident and provided written statements for Sheriff’s Deputies.
Reynolds denied the allegations and became belligerent with deputies at the scene. Deputies say Reynolds was “extremely intoxicated” and began screaming profanities at his neighbors.
Reynolds was taken into custody and charged with Domestic Battery and Disturbing the Peace, due to the incident occurring late in the evening.
Reynolds was released Monday on a $1,250 bond.
