Investigation Underway Into Fatal Pedestrian Crash on Little Road

UPDATE: The victim has been identified as 21-year-old Johnathan McFay Gray.

HUDSON – The Florida Highway Patrol is investigating a pedestrian crash that claimed the life of a 21-year-old Webster man.  

According to the Florida Highway Patrol, the victim was walking northbound on Little Road, just north of New York Ave, when he was struck from behind by a vehicle, driven by 54-year-old Stephen Tedford of Hudson.

The victim was transported to Bayonet Pont Hospital where he later died from his injuries. The victim’s identity has not been released by officials.

There is road blockage reported in the northbound lanes at this time.

The cause of the accident is still under investigation and charges are pending, say officials.
