Knife and Gun Drawn in Separate Aggravated Assaults

SPRING HILL – This afternoon, deputies responded to dual weapon disturbances, within blocks of each other and just minutes apart.

There are few details at this time, but sources say a woman pulled knife on an unknown victim, inside a home on Lansfield Ave. The suspect fled the scene on foot, before deputies arrived, but she was eventually apprehended at the intersection of Northcliffe Blvd and Hayes Street. It is not known at this time if the suspect will be charged with a crime.

Only a few blocks away from the knife incident, a man allegedly pulled a gun on a neighbor in the area of Addison Street and Marshall Ave. Sources say, the suspect was described as a black male, thin build, wearing all black and was armed with handgun. RNRF arrived on the scene, just as deputies were taking up position near a home on Marquette Street, but it was soon discovered that the suspect’s residence was situated exactly where we were shooting video from. At that time, there were few details as to the exact location of the suspect, but we soon learned that he had fled in a vehicle, before our arrival.

A few minutes later the suspect returned to the scene and was questioned by deputies, regarding the incident. It is no known if charges will be filed at this time.

We will update both stories as more information develops.
