Large Marijuana Grow Operation Discovered in Abandoned House, No Arrests So Far

BROOKSVILE – Nearly 100 pounds of marijuana and several plants were seized from a residence on Whipperwill Street on Friday.

According to officials, Detectives raided an abandoned residence at 26201 Whipperwill Street and seized 97.25 lbs. and 26 marijuana plants, in what was an elaborate grow operation inside the home.

The investigation began after Detectives were alerted possible power diversion, which is usually a sign of illegal activity.

No arrests have been made at this time, according to officials.

    • Janet, so sorry about your daughter. You are right they should spend more effort getting hard drugs off the streets. I am also of the opinion that I’d rather my child smoke pot than do heroin, cocaine, meth ,etc. Alcohol kills every day and the drunk drivers are back on the streets before you can say boo.
