According to officials, around 2:00 p.m. Fire Rescue responded to 13379 Potomac Ave, after reports of a fire inside the kitchen and garage of the home. Upon arrival, firefighters determined that two adults and a child were accounted for but the family’s dog was still missing. After the fire was brought under control, firefighters discovered the injured dog inside the home and transported it to a local veterinarian for burn treatment.
