Man Breaks Into Family Home and Goes on Violent Rampage
BROOKSVILLE – Officials with the Brooksville Police Department say they’ve captured the man responsible for a violent residential burglary that occurred on Hale Ave Tuesday.
According to reports, 21-year-old Kalvin Eugene Southall kicked down two doors of a residence located at 819 Hale Ave and destroyed several items throughout the home. Turns out, the home was occupied by his father and sister who did not want Kalvin on the property.
After a vicious rampage, Southall fled the residence and remained on the run until today, when Brooksville Police located Southall and took him into custody.
Southall is charged with one count of Burglary (occupied dwelling) and remains behind bars at the Hernando County Jail, held on $15,000 bond.
Southall has had several run-ins with the law, including battery, Burglary, and Drug Possession charges.
