  • I’d fight the world for my kids!! I don’t blame him. My kids crying i am not just going to leave them like that I am their parent and would be more at ease knowing my child was not upset. Put yourselves in his shoes walk a mile then talk trash.. No one but Brown, his ex, & her boyfriend know exactly what happened so no one teally has room to be judgemental, unless one of you wears a gown and owns a gavel.

  • He should have left when told, I know it’s hard in the situations. But in the child’s best interest, he should have left. It’s no good for the kid to see this but burglary? A little extreme.

  • To johndavidhanna, I agree. Once again everyone is making their own assumptions out of this. Now, he was wrong to attack but do any of you know the reason the child got upset, or why the father was told to leave. There is always two sides to every story and every action has a reaction. Many women going through divorces that involve child custody end up into a dirty battle and many women can be very deviate as well as the men when it comes to child custody and visitation battles. Don’t judge unless you see both sides of the coin.

  • ” Charles Russell Brown stopped to speak with his son. The ex-wife and her male companion both agreed to a short visit outside the home with THEIR son.”

Since when does a male companion get to be called the father? The mother has control but no one should give a male companion a voice until it buys the milk instead of just stealing the cream.

      • JOHNDAVIDHANNA AND itsnotright- seem to have obscure views on matters pertaining to families where the biological parents are no longer together. Custody and child visitation is difficult on all parties. IN MY OPINION- (nobody knows exactly what transpired, and this article is based on the words of the mother and boyfriend (none us were there to witness, nor is the biological fathers statement included).
Perhaps the “boyfriend” has been raising/living with the child for some length of time, and is viewed as a father figure to/by the child. ANYHOW- the “boyfriend” was closing the door, due to the child and mother being inside already, maybe trying to avoid further conflict.
IF God forbid the child or woman was hurt in this incident you BOTH would probably be up in arms saying “why the hell didn’t the useless BF stop him from entering the home?”. On the flip side, maybe the biological father snapped because he wanted to console his son, who was crying or emotional and overwhelmed. (we don’t know why, maybe something happened prior, maybe not, maybe it wasn’t due to his fathers actual presence, but maybe his absence before that moment). REGARDLESS violence is not the answer!
Who knows- I don’t usually comment, but this one struck a cord, because EACH FAMILIES inner workings are so complex- WHO ARE YOU TO JUDGE?
BTW Mr. Tom Lemons, I’m definitely not a grammatical scholar, however the use and context of the word “THEIR” seems entirely proper, I understood what you meant.. I think it was just an ignorant complaint from someone who couldn’t find anything else to complain about.
