Man Infamous for Dancing on Patrol Car Arrested in Hernando County, Held on $25,000 Bond
SPRING HILL – In 2015, then-44-year-old Christian Kenneth Radecki made national headlines after he danced atop a Lee County patrol car. The incident was captured on surveillance video and broadcast on numerous media outlets around the country. But Radecki has a long history of arrests, including a 1993 sexual assault conviction out of Middlesex New Jersey.
According to officials with the State Attorney’s Office, Radecki has failed to register numerous times as a sex offender and has several arrests for theft, solicitation of prostitution, and vagrancy related charges.
On Monday, Hernando County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to the Winn Dixie at Spring Hill Drive and Mariner Blvd, after management called to report that they wished to have Radecki trespassed from the property. Deputies made contact with Radecki and issued a trespass warning but he still refused to leave. After several failed attempts, Radecki stated, “Take me to jail.” And that’s’ exactly what Deputies proceeded to do.Radecki is charged with trespassing and was held on a $1,000 bond, however, during a first appearance hearing with Judge Kristie Ruppe, Radecki’s bond was increased to $25,000 bond.
