  • I really don’t understand why people are calling the man a “DUMBASS”…….no one knows what the physical or mental condition of this man was. I doubt it very much that he thought, “let me lay down in the middle of this road and I hope I get run over by a vehicle”. To all the nasty posters, what if it was a member of your family…? Would you still be making the same comments.

  • this is common. i seen teens laying down across deltona a couple times in the last week playing I believe the game is called chicken. i called the other night bc going up us19 north of hexam there was 3 people sitting in the road on portable devices texting or playing video games at night literally sitting down in the traffic lane. mental health or drugs, this isnt uncommon either for people to defy vehicle traffic by just walking in busy lanes like oh the cars will just move out of the way. when i lived over by bay drive a woman would set up a play area in the road for her kids and set a turtle w a flag and get angry mad if any cars drove on the road. i called once and she argued with the deputy she has total right to the road in front of her house. im like smh people are mentally ill.
