Man Suspected of Firing Shots into Vehicle, Occupied by a Little Girl, Behind Bars

DADE CITY (PASCO) – A suspect wanted for firing several shots into a car occupied by two women and a 7-year-old girl is behind bars today, after SWAT members raided a home on Moss Lane, where they located the suspect.  

According to officials, 26-year-old Javante Hill is suspected of firing shots into a vehicle occupied by Hill’s girlfriend, another woman, and her 7-year-old daughter. The incident occurred in the area of 36641 Blanton Road, where several shell casings were located. There were no injuries reported at the time of the incident.

Just after noon today, multiple agencies, including Pasco, Hernando, and the FDLE, converged on the residence and placed Hill into custody without incident.

Hill is expected to face charges of shooting into an occupied vehicle.
