Man Tweets Bomb Threats to Pasco Officials, Challenges President Trump to a Fight
NEW PORT RICHEY (PASCO) – A man’s twitter account landed him behind bars yesterday, after he tweeted that he would detonate explosives at local government buildings and kill law enforcement officers.
Officials say 43-year-old Terrance Upham made multiple bomb threats via his twitter handle repit4u, while stealing Wi-Fi from a residence on Loy Street in New Port Richey.
Upham, who may have been under the influence of Methamphetamine, tweeted “Pasco OEM respond and it will set off explosions in Pasco the Sheriff’s Department killing many.” Another tweet stated, “Explosives, IED’s, local government, family business, I take full responsibility for the killing spree”The threats were not taken lightly by officials and extra security measures were put in place to ensure the safety of security of those threatened. There were no explosive devices located during search of government buildings, according to officials.
Upham was taken into custody without incident and charged with making bomb threats, a computer access offense, and possession of methamphetamine.RNRF located several videos posted on Upham’s Twitter account displaying his bizarre behavior.
Many of Upham’s Tweets were filled with racial slurs and uses the word N***er hundreds of times. In a video posted by Upham, he even challenges President Donald Trump to a fight and calls him a pedophile.
