  • I personally know people that have gone to that hospital for emergency medical treatment and never came out because they could not figure out what was wrong with them and they died, This happened to someone that I knew just this month, She was in there for over 2 weeks and they only found out what it was just days before she died and for her it was too late.

  • Driving a car is dangerous enough around here let alone a motorcycle and you drive one it’s only a matter of time before your going to get into an accident.

  • Just a Regular Joe, Dolly is partly right, and so are you. Oak Hill is THE BEST hospital for care that Hernando Co. has. The other’s…smh. Such gross negligence is all you get from them, along with a careless attitude. You’re asking to die if you go there. Don’t know how they are even legally still allowed to be open. :/

Dolly is right on one issue. I saw it myself. One of my grown/married daughters just went through a bought of passing multiple (huge) kidney stones during Feb. for which she spent 12 days in Oak Hill. On her last trip into the ER there, it was packed. And YES, they did have people lined up and down the hallways. There was no privacy to be had. Nurses/Dr’s had no choice but to talk to the patients in those open hallways. The best they could do was to try to talk quietly in asking questions. My daughter was a lucky one to have gotten a room, but even she had to wait 2.5 hrs in the waiting room while dealing with a 5.4mm stone stuck in the ureter tube in her back causing massive pain. But there was nothing that could be done. Once a room became available…they put her in it. So I guess that’s what happens when you’re the BEST hospital in the county! 🙂 it may continue to be a problem :/ until they expand their ER.
