Northbound I-75 Blocked After Multi-Vehicle Crash, Semi-Tractor-Trailer Involved

BROOKSVILLE – A multi-vehicle crash involving a semi-tractor-trailer has blocked the northbound lanes of I-75 and injured at least one person.

Emergency vehicles are just arriving on scene but there are early reports that only one person have sustained injuries at this time.

The accident occurred at mile marker 301, about a mile north of Cortez Blvd.

  • Having been a truck driver’s wife and riding with my husband many times, I’m willing to bet someone driving a car still thinks semis can stop on a dime and give 9 cents change because they have air brakes.
    A prayer goes out for injured person. Wish for a speedy recovery also.

    • I was a truck driver up till this July and saw it all the time car drivers don’t care they drive how they feel like it and truckers are just there to deal with the morons

      • I bet you loved the ones who would use the emergency pull off lanes to pass – usually just before the overpass abutments – thinking you’d stop before you’d drive over them . The public doesn’t understand semi & trailer & load equals alot of tonage & longer stopping distance & less maneuverability.
