Officials Tight Lipped on Search for Suspect, Last Seen in Area of Fatal Drive-By Shooting
UPDATE 2-24-2018: Jonathan P. Ortiz is now behind bars, charged with Grand Theft. There are no further details at this time.
PORT RICHEY – The Pasco County Sheriff’s searching for a suspect in a “Grand Theft.” however, there are unconfirmed reports that he may be facing much more serious charges than are being released at this time.
Around 9:00 a.m. this morning, officials posted a mugshot of 25-year-old Jonathan P. Ortiz who they say was last seen in the area of Fireside Drive and Regency Park Boulevard, less than a mile from the scene of a drive-by shooting that claimed the life of a 14-year-old boy last Wednesday.
Officials will neither confirm nor deny if Ortiz is a suspect in the killing of young Christian Robinson, at this time.
Ortiz has an extensive arrest record in Pasco County, to include charges of Aggravated Battery with a Weapon, Burglary, Theft, and numerous drug charges.
