One Transported to Trauma Center After Motorcycle Crash
UDPATE: 9:03 P.M. – The driver of the vehicle involved in the collision contacted RNRF this evening, claiming the injured motorcyclist was at fault in the crash. According to Kay Parris, the motorcyclist, who has yet to be identified, “…was weaving in and out of traffic and struck the back of my vehicle.” Parris goes on to say, “The State trooper sighted him and my rear end is damaged.”
We hav not received a full report from the Florida Highway Patrol to confirm the details of the crash.
SPRING HILL – One person was transported a local trauma center after a motorcycle was struck by a car on Spring Hill Drive.
Sources tell RNRF that a single vehicle struck a Harley Style motorcycle near the intersection of Arlee Lane and Spring Hill Drive.
There are unconfirmed reports that the driver was not wearing a helmet at the time of the crash.
The extent of the victim’s injuries is unknown at this time.
The Florida Highway Patrol will be investigating the cause of the crash.
