Pilot Walks Uninjured, After Landing Gear Collapses on Small Aircraft

BROOKSVILLE – No injuries have been reported, after the landing gear on a twin engine private aircraft collapsed while landing at Brooksville-Tampa Bay Regional Airport.

Fire Rescue responded to the crash around 1:30 p.m. this afternoon, where they located the damaged aircraft and pilot.

Sources say there were no injuries and damaged to the aircraft is minor, but that information has not been confirmed by officials.

  • Thank goodness he was not hurt. Must be an experienced pilot to pull off that landing without a scrape or scratch. The Angels were with him today.
