Search for Armed Robbery Suspect Underway, Threatened to Shoot Customer
HUDSON (PASCO) – Detectives with the Pasco County Sheriff’s Office are searching for the person responsible for a late night armed robbery of an O’Reilly Auto Parts store.
According to officials, around 9:30 p.m. last night, a black male wearing a black hoodie, jeans, beanie, and a bandana across his face, walked into the O’Reilly’s located at 12720 US-19 and held the clerks and a customer at gunpoint. Officials say the man pointed a silver semi-automatic handgun at the customer and said he would shoot him if he did not do what he was told. The gunman then ordered the clerks to the bathroom and demanded money from the safe. One of the employees handed the suspect a white Regions zip bag and then he fled the store in an unknown direction.
Sources say the suspect may be driving a black SUV with black rims, but officials have not confirmed that information.
Officials say photos from surveillance video are not available at this time.
