Search Underway for Elderly Man who Disappeared Early This Morning – LOCATED!

UPDATE: 9:23 P.M. – Family of missing Steve Cannone say he has been located and is being transported back to his home in by Law Enforcement. The Cannone family shared their gratitude for the community’s help in locating their loved one.

SPRING HILL – A family is desperately searching for a loved one who disappeared early this morning from his home on Northcliffe Blvd.

According to John Cannone, his grandfather, Steve Cannone left around 9:00 am this morning, en route to Brooksville Regional Hospital to have his pacemaker battery replaced. John says his grandfather never made it to the hospital and is still missing.

Law Enforcement is actively investigating Steve Cannone’s disappearance and is asking for the community’s help in locating him.

Steve Cannone is 89-years-old and is driving a dark blue, 2011, 4-door, Hyundai Sonata.

Contact your local law enforcement agency if you have any information on Steve Cannone’s whereabouts.

John Cannone says his grandfather’s credit card was just used in Palmetto, Florida.
