Search Underway for Suspects in Armed Home Invasion, Kidnapping

DADE CITY (PASCO) – Detectives with the Pasco County Sheriff’s Office are investigating an armed home invasion/kidnapping that occurred early Monday morning.

According to officials, two armed suspects forced their way into a residence located at 37219 Gonzalez Court around 3:00 a.m. Monday. Once inside, the victim was forced to sit on the couch while the suspects stole televisions, an Xbox, a cell phone, and the victim’s clothing. The victim was then blindfolded and forced into a grey 2014 Ford F150 passenger van, bearing Florida tag DJVJ84, and then driven to the area of Clay Hill Road, where they pushed the victim out of the van.

One of the suspects has been identified as 23-year-old Leon Hernandez (See Picture Below).

Officials are offering a $3,000 reward for information leading to the arrest of either suspect.
