DADE CITY – One week after a man was struck and killed while lying in a Citrus County roadway, a Zephyrhills man lost his life after witnesses say he was lying on Blanton Road, just before being struck by at least one vehicle.
According to Dade City Police, 53-year-old Thomas Michael Burdeshaw of Dade City was lying on Blanton Road near Mitchell Street around 1:45 a.m. this morning when he was struck and killed. A witness turned around to check on Burdeshaw where he discovered that the position of his body had changed and had suffered severe trauma.
Several vehicles passed through the area during that time, but it is unknown who struck Burdeshaw.
