Single Vehicle Crash Claims Life of New Port Richey Man

NEW PORT RICHEY – An early morning single vehicle crash claimed the life of a New Port Richey man, after his car rolled over and collided with a utility pole.

According to the Florida Highway Patrol. 32-year-old Ernest Torres was traveling northbound on Rowan Road when he lost control and collided with a utility pole near Alderman Road.

Torres was ejected after his vehicle over turned.

He suffered fatal injuries and died at the scene.

The cause of the accident is under investigation.
