Slow-Speed RV Pursuit Ends at Trauma Center, At Least One Person in Custody
UPDATE: 1:01 P.M. – According to Pasco County Officials, around 9:30am deputies were in pursuit of suspects who fled from an attempted traffic stop in a stolen RV from the Beacon Woods area in Hudson. The three suspects in the RV were also wanted in reference to a shoplifting call at WalMart prior to fleeing.
HUDSON (PASCO) – At least one person is in custody after a slow-speed pursuit of an RV came to an end in front of a local trauma center.
Information is still developing, but according to a local photographer who followed the chase southbound on U.S. 19, Pasco County Sheriff’s Deputies pursued the RV until it reached the entrance of Bayonet Point Hospital, where the suspect allegedly rammed a patrol car.
Bryan Farrow provided the images below of a suspect being taken into custody by Sheriff’s Deputies, just moments after the collision.
There are unconfirmed reports that other possible suspects were dropped off at a location along U.S. 19 during the pursuit.
There are no reports of injuries at this time.
