PINELLAS COUNTY – A triple homicide that took place in Louisville, Kentucky Friday may have ties to Spring Hill.

Officials have not identified the victims or suspect at this time, but according to Louisville Metro Police, two women and a man were found shot to death inside a home in Pleasure Ridge Park.

Police responded to the 7400 block of Ronan Drive, where they discovered the bodies of three victims. Police also found two young children inside the residence unharmed. Their relationship to the victims is unknown at this time.

Less than 24-hours after the homicide investigation began, Pinellas County Sheriff’s Deputies spotted the suspect’s vehicle traveling southbound on US-19. According to IONTB.com Reporter Steven Hirschfield, as the suspect crossed over Ulmerton Road, deputies used OnStar technology to disable the vehicle and take the suspect into custody without incident.

Hirschfield also reports that the suspect is a 46-year-old man from Spring Hill and that he may have killed his girlfriend, her brother and her sister-in-law, before fleeing to Florida with his daughter.
