Suspect Leads Pasco Deputies on Pursuit Into Hernando County – Live PD on Scene
SPRING HILL – One person is in custody after a suspect led Pasco County Deputies on a high-speed pursuit into Hernando County.
We are still gathering information on what led to the pursuit, but there are unconfirmed reports that the suspect attempted to run over a Pasco County Deputy during a traffic stop. The pursuit finally came to an end at Forest Oaks Blvd and Commercial Way.
There are no injuries reported but the suspect’s vehicle and at least one patrol car was damaged in the pursuit.
Spike strips were used to disable the suspect’s vehicle, but the measure inadvertently damaged the tires of several civilian vehicles.
